To illustrate our capabilities, consider our recent deployment in the logistics and shipping sector. A major commercial port faced significant challenges with their legacy Wi-Fi and 4G networks. The massive metal structures of cranes and containers caused severe signal interference, leading to connection drops that disrupted the real-time control of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and remote-controlled gantry cranes. This latency was a bottleneck for their automation goals.
We implemented a comprehensive 5G private network solution tailored to this complex environment. By installing our industrial-grade 5G ODUs on the cranes and utilizing high-gain signal amplifiers throughout the terminal, we established a ubiquitous, high-bandwidth network. This 5G infrastructure provided the ultra-reliable low-latency communication (URLLC) required for the port to remotely operate cranes from a control center miles away and coordinate a fleet of autonomous vehicles without a single collision.
The result was a 30% increase in operational efficiency and a significant improvement in on-site safety, proving that our 5G connectivity solutions are ready to power the industries of tomorrow.
